With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Sue Ackerman of Tallmadge, Ohio, born in Dennison, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert R. Overholt and Ada Merle Watson Overholt; her husband David Walter Ackerman, Jr.; her brother Delbert Wayne Overholt; and her brothers-in-law, Charles "Ike" Berger and Dean Bower.

She is survived by: her children, Scott Ackerman (Rhonda) of Jefferson, Georgia, Alicia Hall of Massillon, Ohio and Jill Crawford (Carl) of Brimfield, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jessica Riggs (Joshua), Jeremy Ackerman (Ashley), Jaymie Gardner (Zac), Austin Ackerman, Andrew Hall, Kyle Hall (Amber), Brendan Hall and Joseph Crawford; her great grandchildren, Cadyn Riggs, Brextyn Riggs, Linkyn Riggs, Rileigh Warther, Rylan Walton, Carsen Walton, Jase Ackerman, Easton Hall, Jaylyn Gardner and Caydee Gardner; her sisters, Mary Lou Overholt of Delaware, Ohio and Helen Bower of Delaware, Ohio; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Overholt of Westchester, Ohio, Lou Ann Boyd of Indianapolis, Indiana and Veda Ackerman (Will Thacker) of Davenport, Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
