He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Cord and Ruby Cord; his son David Cord; and his siblings, Marcelline Cord, Arlene Wallace, Jerry Randolph and Bill Cord.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his children, Stephen Cord of Stow, Jessica Rine (Shane) of Tallmadge and Abigail Lile (Justin) of Tallmadge; his grandchildren, Ruby, Eve, Penelope Rine, Noah and David Lile; his sisters, Sandy Kline (Bob) of Barberton, Patty Willard (Clyde) of Mason and Shirley Cord of Tallmadge; and his sister-in-law Linda Cord of Tallmadge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
