We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2022, at the age of 88, Katharina Habel of Tallmadge, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Mathias; her parents, Josef and Maria; and her brother Anthony. She is survived by: her children, Richard Habel (Beckie), Robert Habel (Kristen) and Janet Todd; and her sisters, Theresa Sensius and Ann Buynak.

She was a lifelong seamstress, starting in Austria, retiring from Kenmore Tailors, and ended by making hundreds of masks for family and friends during the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in memory of our mother to your favorite charity.
