He was predeceased by: his father Donald Elmerick. He is survived by: his mother Cecilia Elmerick of Tallmadge; and his siblings, Susan Bard (Matt) of Twinsburg and James Elmerick of Akron. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
John's goal was to do mission work in South America, so the family is requesting donations in his memory to Diocesan Mission in El Salvador, c/o Cleveland Diocesan, 1404 E. 9th St., Cleveland, OH 44114.
