She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arnold Myhre and Alice Munkel Myhre; her husband Thomas Baumgardner of Tallmadge, OH; her daughters, Elizabeth Tucker (Terry) of Gahanna, OH, Rebecca Baumgardner of Brunswick, OH and Sara Vaughn (Eddie) of Summerfield, NC; her grandchildren, Kristina Tucker of Tsingtao, Austin Vaughn of Woodbridge, NY and Kari Vaughn of Chicago, IL.; her siblings, Carolyn Solberg of Decorah, IA, Dorothy Bacon (Lyle) of Rochester, MN, Mary Newgaard of Spring Grove, MN, Helen Wiechmann of Lubbock, TX, Richard Myhre (Sylvia) of Marshfield, WI, Wayne Myhre (Susan) of Calmer, IA, Lorraine Perkins (Dwight) of Thorp, WI and Gordon Myhre; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Solberg and Carter Wiechmann. She was also cherished by children, Joan's nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, we respectfully request that those attending. Visitation will practice social distancing and wear face masks.
Joan may be honored with donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Lutheran General and Deaconess Hospital Alumni Association, Chicago or Global Health Ministries, Minneapolis.
