He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Parsons and Lura Parsons. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his sons, Michael Lewis Parsons (Sonia) of Macomb Twp, MI and Matthew Lewis Parsons (Diane) of Lancaster, PA; his grandchildren, Jenna, Dylan, Ryan and Leah; and his siblings, Kate, Cathy, Shelia, April and Kenny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Myositis Association, 2000 Duke St. #300, Alexandria, VA 22314.
