He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ritzert and Marcella Ritzert; and his sister Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his siblings, Erika May (Fred) of Mogadore, James Ritzert (Marty) of Twinsburg and Joseph Ritzert of Hamburg, NY; his nieces, Meredith May of Findley, Amanda Kirby (Robby) of Cuyahoga Falls and Abby Lukacik of Kent; and his nephew Curtis May (Laurel) of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by many other nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to Our Lady of Victory Church.
