Diane left this world on December 17, 2024 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As Diane departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Diane. Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gail Walter and Betty Walter; and her sisters, Sally Doss and Nancy Donnelly. She is survived by: her son Keith Matthews (Amanda); her grandchildren, Maiya and Maverick Matthews; and her siblings, Cheryl Coy, Ken Walter and Greg Walter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
