He was predeceased by: his wife Ida; and his son David Scott. He is survived by: his sons, Mark S. Ashmore (Spring) of Marlboro, Peter "Lance" Ashmore (Pamela) of Cygnet, OH and Patrick A. Ashmore of Akron; and his grandchildren, Steven, Nicholas, Daniel, Andrew, Rebekah, Mackenzie and Matthew.
