With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William K. Cogar Sr. of Syracuse, Ohio, born in Grantsville, West Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2020 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafe Kight-Cogar and Edith Kight-Cogar. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Cogar-Heilmann; his children, William Cogar Jr., Shari Cogar (Allen) and Kimberly Cogar-Fetty (Michael); his grandchildren, Timothy Cogar (Christa), Christopher Cogar, JoAuana Fetty, Ericka Bonnett (Michael), Kayla Fetty, Michael Barrett Jr., Brittany Perry (Jeff), Gage Barrett and Breanna Barrett; and his close friends, Vancooney, Ronnie Powell, Roger Coates and Les Frank. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews, two brothers, four sisters.
