She was predeceased by: her parents, August Klingbeil and Emma Klingbeil; her husband Douglass Sloan; her daughter Elizabeth Sloan; her siblings, Helen Klingbeil, Wilma Goetz, Lillian Gregg and Gordon; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Sloan.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Sloan (Sara), Carol Jones (Vernon) and Holly Rigg (Patrick); her grandchildren, Cory McQuaig (Tony), Ben Blommel (Kaitlyn), Kelsey Sloan, Maggie Sloan, Aidan Rigg, Hayley Rigg and Morgan Rigg; and her great grandchild Madelyn McQuaig.
