He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his brother Robert Friedman; his children, Jeffrey Friedman (Penny), Dena Rives, Michael Friedman, Rachel Schroeder (Todd) and Melissa Rakolta (Mike); and his stepchildren, Steve Davis (Betsy) and Juliana Swanson (Reed). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
