With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley S. Kennedy of Sylvania, Ohio, who passed away on March 20, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shaner and Bernice Shaner (Sorrell); her husband Patrick Kennedy; her daughter Margaret Ann Kennedy; and her sister Bernadine Hopmoen.

She is survived by: her son Eric Kennedy (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Sean, Margaret, Elizabeth and Kaleb; her brother William S. Shaner (Carol); and her friends, Tina Fitzgerald and Joanne Krause.

Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. (For the safety of the Kennedy family and their guests, masks are required with social distancing).

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Rosary Care Center or the Toledo Humane Society.
