It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Jay Steinman of Sylvania, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Steinman and Nettie Steinman; his wife Beverly Manoff; his children, Caryl Liber (Nevin) and Debra Tilley (Christopher); his grandchildren, Jessica Cancio (Payton), Nicholas Liber (Kendra), Katherine Steele (Ben), Stephen Tilley and Robin Hull (Rik); his great grandchildren, Jett James, Samantha Jean Cancio and Logan Samuel Steele; and his pet Boo. He was also cherished by the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Sam's life will be held sometime next year, due to Covid.
In lieu of flowers, and to honor Sam's compassion for the underdog, the family requests that tributes be made to a food bank or any charity that provides for the less fortunate.
