He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eurple "Rudy" and Ruth Rudolph (Jaegle); his former wife Joyce Posey; his wife Cheryl Browning; his children, Theresa Smith (Jim "Butch"), Ken Rudolph (Cathi), Lorri Smith, John Rudolph (Stephanie) and Mindy Keene (Steve); his brother James (JoEllen); his daughters, Melinda and Jill Rudolph; and his friends, Joyce and Larry Moran of Ocklawaha. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
