It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. VanDemark of Sylvania, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Monaghan and Martha Monaghan (Buckley); her husband Paul VanDemark; her daughter Paula Kay Patterson; her great great grandchild Amelia Ford; and her brothers, Thomas Monaghan and John Monaghan.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Vandemark and Jeff Vandemark (Jackie); her son-in-law Patrick Patterson; her grandchildren, Troy Payment (Kristen), Timothy Payment (Allison), Tara Adair (Ryan), David VanDemark (Erin), Chad VanDemark (Jenny), Stacie Adams (Christopher), Justin VanDemark, Jonathon VanDemark and Jennifer Diroff (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Jaydon Payment, Carson Payment, John Patrick Payment, Reilly Payment, Evan Payment, Derek VanDemark, Samantha VanDemark, Amanda Garn (Nick), Brandon Ford, Kensleigh Adams, Liam Adams, Charlotte VanDemark and Owen Diroff; her great great grandchild Jaxson Garn; and her sister Patricia Ann Goedde.
