It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Norman Helminiak (Sylvania, Ohio), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Helminiak and Bonnie Helminiak (Luckey); and his siblings, Marian, John, Ray and Bonnie Jean.

He is survived by: his wife Dorye Kujawa (Kujawa); his sons, Dick Jr., Doug (Becky), David (Tina) and Danny (Kandi); his grandchildren, Nicole O'Brien (Spencer), Andrea Rees (Jordan), Doug Helminiak (Jacey), Brian Helminiak (Morgan), Rachel Drake (Jordan), Blake Helminiak, Kayla Helminiak (Noah), D. J. Helminiak and Abby Helminiak; and his great grandchildren, Lexy Helminiak, Brian Helminiak, Julian Rees, Doug Helminiak III and O'Brien.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances to ProMedica Hospice or the Providence Lutheran Church.
