With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis McClain of Sylvania, Ohio, who passed away on October 13, 2023 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis McClain to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lilly and Bertha Lilly (Cooney); her husband Robert Francis McClain; and her siblings, Joanna Steele, Margaret Steele, Richard and Robert Lilly.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Panik (Steve), Mary Beth Grogan (Paul), Jayne Beckstead (Andy), Colleen Crisman (John), Sister Patricia Marie McClain, Charlene Sherman (Steve), Amy Ross (Dave), Robert McClain (Sharon) and James McClain; and her sister Ellen Kramer. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Notre Dame or charity of donor's choice in memory of Phyllis.
