He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Benore and Alma Benore (Griggs); his close friend Therisa Steele (Terrie); his children, Christopher (Gloria), Brian Johnson (Eve) and Tanya Benore; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jordan (Cory), Autumn (Matthew) and Austin (Kennedy); his great grandchild Aidan; and his siblings, George Benore (Mary) and Barbara McPartland. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
