He was predeceased by: his parents, Jamil and Fariza; his son Jamil; and his grandchildren, Brooke and Christopher.

He is survived by: his wife Najat; his children, Sahar Naddaf (Henry) and Manar Nahhas (Ahed); his grandchildren, Andrew, Dr. Amanda Gildeh (Edward), Alexandra and Alicia; and his great grandchild Chloe. He is also survived by three brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral.
