He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ulrich and Betty Ulrich (Lewis); his wife Barbara A. Stevens; and his sister Marilyn Galbreth. He is survived by: his children, Gerry Holmes (Michael), Geoff Ulrich and Katherine Ray; his grandchildren, Zachary, Brianna and Tommy; his sisters, Barbara Cunningham (Robert) and Linda Lehrer (Hank); his nieces, Julie Levine (Matthew) and Jennifer Peterson (Michael); and his great-nieces, Carys and Chloe.

The family suggests contributions to Ohio Living Hospice.
