He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Welsh and Ruth Welsh (Skinner); his wife Catherine Fio; and his siblings, Patricia St. Dennis, Catherine Reimer, Jack and Richard Welsh.
He is survived by: his brother Basil Welsh (Judy); his sons, Michael (Debra) and David Welsh (Christine); his grandchildren, Michael (Victoria), Gabrielle and Dominic; and his great grandchildren, Annabell, Allison and Audrey.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michael's name can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Pius X Catholic Church.
