He is survived by: his children, Carolann Wamer (James) and Brent Szymanski (Mandi Purnell); his granddaughter Kali Davis (Dylan Walsh); his sister-in-law Christine Miller (Rick DeTray); his godson Todd Miller (Danielle); his great-nephew Brody; his significant other Susan Rink; his partner's children, Ashley and Stephanie Elvey; his granddaughter Aveline; his aunt Helen Szymanski; and his cousin Frankie Szymanski.
