He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Ristau and Catherine Ristau (Lomont); and his brothers, Archie, Dennis and David.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pattie" Ristau; his children, Charles Ristau (Colleen) and Wendy Haudrich (John); his grandchildren, Thomas Ristau (Amanda), Elizabeth Wills (Tyler), Matthew Ristau, Claire Haudrich and Anna Haudrich; his siblings, Patrick Ristau (Pam), Christine Buysse and Cathy Skerke (John); and his siblings-in-law, Ed Green (Sharon), Bonnie Ristau and Maria Ristau.
