He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Nortz and Margaret Nortz; his brothers, Thomas and Jim Nortz; his nephew Sean Satterthwaite; his niece Sara Satterthwaite; and his parents-in-law, Merritt and Mary Ellen Sommers.
He is survived by: his wife Sondra Nortz; his sons, Jason (Alli), Timothy (Desiree) and Kevin Nortz; his grandchildren, Cierra, Crosby and Elliot Nortz; his sister Ann Marie Satterthwaite (Dave); his niece Elizabeth Satterthwaite; his sister-in-law Dorothy Nortz; and his niece Kristen Nortz.
