She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Brunner and Monique Brunner (Gengler); her husband John Schausten; her sons, Christopher, Timothy and David; her husband Paul Birsen; and her siblings, David Brunner, Donald Brunner and Suzanne Schroeder.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Birsen (Kim), Donald Birsen (Mary), Monica Birsen and Patricia Gottenbusch (Gary); and her brother John Brunner (Mary Ellen). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
