With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lewis Oscar Smith III (Sylvania, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lewis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lewis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Smith and Rachael Smith. He is survived by: his children, Damian B. Smith (Lori) and Heather Smith Lutkin (Chris); his brother Mark Kuhn Smith (Diane); his granddaughter Allison Parker Smith; his nieces, Kara Sample Houser (Jon) and Erin C. Lascola (Tony); his nephew Robert Sample (Leah); and his great-nephew Conor Houser.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank.
