He was predeceased by: his parents, John Durback and Audrey Durback; his parents-in-law, John and Dorothy Sominski; his brothers-in-law, Ron Sominski and Art Esposito; and his pet Lucy Loo.
He is survived by: his wife Debby Durback; his son John Michael Durback; his siblings, Ron Durback and Jeanne Esposito; and his brothers-in-law, John Sominski and Gary Sominski (Joy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
