He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Binder and Helen Binder (Lee); and his wife Evelyn Kuchinski Binder. He is survived by: his children, Carol Smietanski (Greg) and John Binder (Chris Taylor); his grandchildren, Forrest Smietanski (Yvonne), Taylor Bolazina (Connor) and Meredith Smietanski; and his siblings, Richard Binder (Kathy), Jim Binder (Lillian), Susan Nowak (Dave) and Mary Brooks (Sonny).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
