James L. Chandler Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James L. Chandler of Sylvania, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Chandler and Margaret Chandler (Wasserman). He is survived by: his wife Susan L. Holly; his children, Dawson Chandler (Chelsea) and Beth Ann Kimball (Troy); his grandchild Remington Kimball; and his sister Debbie Thompson (Scott).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home (1640 Smith Rd, Temperance, MI 48182). The lying in state will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lambertville United Methodist Church (8165 Douglas Rd, Lambertville, MI 48144). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the church or the Toledo Humane Society.
