He was predeceased by: his parents, Asiel LaRoy and Elizabeth LaRoy (Salenbien); his siblings, Shirley Schmidt and Robert LaRoy; his grandson Nicholas Christensen; and his son-in-law Mark Christensen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary VanDevelde (Monroe); his children, Angela Christensen (late Mark), Terese Gust (Daniel), Gustave LaRoy (Paula), Laura Rush (Darrell), Paul LaRoy (Kelly), Steve LaRoy (Debra) and Kathryn Blochowski; his grandchildren, Eric Christensen, Amanda Christensen, Nathan Gust (Megan), Joseph Gust (Katy), Jacob Gust (Jessica), David Gust (Allison), Gustave LaRoy (Jenifer), Isaac LaRoy (Brooke), Madison LaRoy, Mitchell LaRoy, Jonathan Rush (Kylie), Natalie Westhoven (Matt Scott), Emily Peper (Greg), Kelsey Knopp (Eric), Ashley Hatch (Keaton), Garrett LaRoy (Paxton), Lukas LaRoy (LeeAnn), Abby Flack (Austin), Gabriel LaRoy (Bailey), Zachary LaRoy, Grace Blochowski and Joseph Blochowski; his sister Betty Ann LaRoy; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia LaRoy and John Schmidt. He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren.
