He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kunkel and Blanch Wojciechowski; his siblings, Mary Ann Pozy (Don), Bill Kunkel and Bernie Kunkel; and his son Scott Kunkel of Tyler.
He is survived by: his wife Tricia Kunkel; his daughters, Kayla Kunkel and Kristi Shepler (Jordan); his daughter-in-law Michelle Kunkel; his sister Theresa Wozniak (Joe); his sisters-in-law, Ethel Kunkel and Candy Kunkel; and his granddaughters, Katrina Kunkel and Eleanora Shepler.
