We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2019, at the age of 98, George W. Snook (Sylvania, Ohio), born in Ashland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Edward and Treva Snook (Sprinkle); his daughter Tonya; his son-in-law Paul Nachtrieb; and his siblings, Carrie Dunham, Frances Dresher, Betty Ekey, Alice Snook and William E. Snook.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara E. Snook (Gray); his children, Melody Metz of Springfield, Teri Snook of Sylvania and Thomas Snook (Beth) of Sylvania; his brother Richard Snook (Nancy) of Euclid, Ohio; his grandchildren, Steven Randall (Amy), Barbara Metz, Kaitlin Francis, Emily Schwertner (Kyle), Austin Snook, Ethan Snook and Rebecca Snook; and his great grandchildren, Alivia, Andrew, Ashton, Brody and A. J.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Champaign Aviation Museum, 1652 N. Main St., Urbana, OH 43078.
