He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tighe and Bertha Tighe; his wife Jeanne Tighe; his daughter Kathy "Sooty" Crosby; and his grandson George Holmes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia Owen (Terry) and Deborah Holmes (Dave Gibson); and his grandchildren, Jeff Rymers (Annette), Carrie Dellabona (Jon), Kelly Auger (Bob Warner), Jamie Reed, Christa MacPherson (Gordy), Kevin Baker (Jenn), Keith Baker (Stacy), Corey Rymers, Jim Holmes and Dawn Grant (Joe). He is also survived by great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
