He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Kay Runco and Cindy Fay Sengstock; his grandchildren, Matthew Frederick Sengstock, Maria Margaret and Carl Christopher Runco; and his brother Richard Friess.

The family requests donations to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, The Humaine Society or the cherry Street Mission.
