He was predeceased by: his brother Don Okun. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Okun; his brother Larry Okun; his daughters, Robin Okun (Peter Weinstein), Shelly Fruchtman (Gary) and Amy Okun Saltzstein (Barry Nistel); his grandchildren, Zackary Dunivin, Zoe Dunivin, Josh Goldberg (Amanda), Adam Goldberg (Andrea), Cydney Goldberg, Drew Saltzstein (Jenny), Nikki Saltzstein, Daniel Fruchtman (Ellen), Allison McGrath (Charlie) and Charley Steinman (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Blake, Jake Fruchtman, Dylan, Maddie McGrath, Brodie Steinman, Phoebe and Margo Goldberg. He is also survived by 3 daughters, 7 grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the Max and Ida Okun Endowment at Temple Shomer Emunim.
