It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ferd Owen Markley (Sylvania, Ohio), born in Bluffton, Indiana, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Markley and Beulah Markley; his former wife Marge; and his siblings, Roger, Jay and Phyllis.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Champion; his children, Morris Markley (Kathleen), Jolene Shepherd, Jacki Rooke and Ken Markley (Joy); his stepchild Chris Champion (Cris); his grandchildren, Jennifer Markley, Justin Markley, Kai Shepherd (Katie), Alexis Anderson (Tyler), Cam Rooke (Rachel), Shannon Tevendale (Dave), Leslie Scott (Dave), Gabe Markley (Juliana), Autumn Markley, Liam Champion and Dyllan Champion; and his nieces and nephews, Twink Pierce (John), Melissa Pierce, Bobbi Simon and Dennis Simon. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
