He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Abodeely and Nellie Abodeely (Saba); and his sisters, Judy Santus and Valerie Kopp. He is survived by: his wife Laura Hentges Abodeely; his son Jason Douglas Abodeely; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jacob and Lauren Abodeely; and his stepson Bryan Ortyl. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Doug's most impactful contributions to others were often unseen as a result.
