He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Agnus Young (Richardson); his parents, Clarence Adam Young and Monica Lou Hebenstriet; his sister Rosemary Walton; and his siblings-in-law, Bonita Young (Bonnie), Beverly Young (Bev), Jerry Walton and Charles Sila (Chuck).
He is survived by: his siblings, Howard Young, Roy Young (Jolene), Nadine Sila and Benedict Young (Janice); and his children, Rosemary LaForest (David), Brian Young (Annette), Cynthia Gardner, Paul Young (Sue), Clarence A. Young (Gayle), Mark Young (Beth) and Joy Dauterman (Jim). He is also survived by grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In reflecting on his life, his family unanimously acknowledges his proudest accomplishment: raising seven children who grew into independent adults, each making meaningful contributions to the world in their own unique ways.
