She was predeceased by: her mother Teresa Mack; and her sister Sharon Standriff (Duane Peterson). She is survived by: her sons, David (Michelle), Eric, Christopher (Leslie) and Paul (Sheri); her grandchildren, Molly Jones (Sam), Jeremy, Nathan, Luke, Iain, Eric, Nick and Kate Peterson; and her great grandchild Annie Jones.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Chartel's name may be given to The Cherry Street Mission.
