We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2022, at the age of 94, Carolyn Marlys Metzger (Sylvania, Ohio), born in Plainfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Jones and Hazel Jones (Dunterman); her husband Herb; and her brother Richard Jones. She is survived by: her significant other Heavenly; her sister Mary Ann Eifert; her daughters, Sue Metzger (John Hadley), Sally Friend (Jim) and Holly Metzger (John Coonradt); her friends, Kyle Friend (Britta), Erika Hadley Chambers (Adam), George Hadley (Emily), Robert Hadley (Janee), Stefanie Hadley, Fred Hadley, Mark Hadley, Austin Coonradt and Jake (Heather); and her great grandchild Gigi. She is also survived by caregivers, nurses.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be considered for Hope Lutheran Church - Salem Project, Assistance Dogs at the Ability Center, of Toledo, The Toledo Zoo or a charity of your choice.
