She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Simon and Sander Simon; her former husband Cal Katz; and her sister Shirley Yaffe. She is survived by: her husband Calvin Katz; her children, Randy Katz (Lauri Levison), Susan and Steve Kaufman; her grandchildren, Ian (Christina Katz), Lindsay (Andrew Arndt), Eli Kaufman (Emily Waife) and Max Kaufman; and her great grandchildren, Cobin Katz and Ellen Katz.
Due to the Coronavirus CDC recommendations, Funeral Services will be conducted privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation B'nai Israel, Sylvania, OH, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
