He is survived by: his parents, Benedict Roop and Florence Roop (Spate); his wife Marilyn; and his children, Janice Puryear (Bruce), Barbara Pershe (John) and Jennifer Troutman (Bryan). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
