She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis Newhouse and Erma Van Newhouse (DeSmith); her husband Roland Hershal Adams; her children, Eric Adams (Kelly), Susan Phlipot (John), Michael Adams and Richard Adams (Amy); her grandchildren, Jacob, Chelsea, Timothy, Robert, Sarah, Shyann, Tyler and Chase; her great grandchildren, Declan, Ayden and Lockland; her siblings, Beverly (Ronald) and Jerry Gill (Marcie); and her granddaughter Julie.
