He is survived by: his children, Beth Bond (John) of Eugene, Alaina Crall (David) of Bucyrus and Cyndy Bertsch (Jeremiah) of Sycamore; his grandchildren, Alex, Jay Bond, Gwen, William, Daniel Crall, James, Jethro, Josiah and Joy Bertsch; his sisters, Suzanne Burkhart of Bloomville and Paula Ridgeway (Mike) of Upper Sandusky; his stepsisters, Doris Bloomfield (Dale) of Bucyrus, Vivian Shumaker of Galion and Connie Seville of Bucyrus; his brothers-in-law, Chuck Koons of Bucyrus, Doug Koons (Debbie) of Bucyrus and Charles Heinlen of Vermilion; his father-in-law Delbert Koons of Bucyrus; and his pet Hazel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home (476 S Sandusky Ave, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
