He was predeceased by: his parents, Whitney Gast and Alma Gast (Knowlton); his wife Betty Lou Gast (Paulin); his brother Richard Gast; and his daughter Tina Gast.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Gast (Jenny), Andy Gast, Mike Gast and Tony Gast (Dawn); and his sister Karen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many dear friends.
