She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayward Adrian and Helen Marie Ernst Smith; and her brother Samuel E.. She is survived by: her children, Joseph R. Clifton, Debra Miracle and William M Clifton, Jr.; and her sisters, Veronica Smith Whitaker (Roni), Geneva K. and Barbara Smith. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
