Velma Hallett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2021, at the age of 93, Velma Hallett of Swanton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Degenfelder and Rosella Degenfelder (Kasper); and her sisters, Geraldine, Eulalia and Doris.
She is survived by: her husband Terry; her niece Sue Stough; her friends, Donna Gearig and Susan Stultz; her children, Christopher Hallett (Susan), Kathleen Hallett and Kelly Bergman (Christopher); and her grandchildren, Erin Ryan, Janelle Hallett, Addie Nelson, Alexis Bergman and Olivia Bergman.
Velma's family wishes to thank those who made it possible for her to stay in her home over the past year; Dora, Denise and others at Passionate Care, Archbold, Ohio; dear friend, Susan Stultz, always ready for a long day of cards; and our dear friend, Jill Hart, who made many personal sacrifices to enable the family to keep Velma home during the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
