Susanne M. Dzyak Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2024, at the age of 83, Susanne M. Dzyak of Swanton, Ohio, born in Brookville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul J. Dzyak; her parents, Lawrence Gatesman and Florence "Hop" Gatesman; her brother Lawrence Gatesman; and her brother-in-law Jim Beichner.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Jr. (Michelle), Michael (Laurie), Brian and Todd Dzyak (Rachel); her grandchildren, Josh (Jessica), Melanie, Anna, Kathryn (Eric), Alison, Elyssa, Brianna, Natasha and Alexa; her great grandchild Rhys; her sister Virginia Beichner; and her siblings-in-law, Peggy Gatesman, Kathryn Upton, Margaret Putnam and John Dzyak (Jennifer). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Homes - Swanton (204 Chestnut St, Swanton, OH 43558). A vigil service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Richard Catholic Church (333 Brookside Dr, Swanton, OH 43558).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Richard Parish or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
