He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Schimming and Loretta Schimming; and his brother Gary Schimming. He is survived by: his granddaughter Remington Remer; his wife Patricia Schimming; his children, Tarie (Bill Simile), Jackie (Phil Stankiewicz), Michelle (Nathan Bowe) and Amy (Ben Remer); his grandchildren, Sydnie, AJ Simile, Sophi, Tessa Stankiewicz, Chase Bowe, Beyla, Benzen, Bexley and Brigston Remer; and his sister Darla Van Horn (Glenn).
